In General

The types of personal information we collect and how we collect it: Information you provide upon registration: in order to make use of certain services provided through the SPICE Framework App and website you will either need to:

(a) register an account with us; (b) log in using a social media account of your choice. When you do so, we will be provided with certain information about you from the social media site, as specified when you log in. You will be able to select how we use your information for marketing purposes. You can update your marketing preferences at any time by following the instructions to amend your details in the account registration section. We will only use your information in accordance with your instructions and as set out in this privacy policy.


In accordance with our requirements under the Data Protection Act 1998, we will adopt appropriate security procedures to help prevent unauthorised access to your information. Innovation People Limited shall not be liable for any attempt to hack or crack or otherwise gain access to any part of this website including any of your information

(1) Administration & Marketing

Demographic and other data:

The App and the SPICE Framework website use cookies and web-beacons from which we can derive, web analytics and web logs generating information about your use of our site, information about your computer such as your computer’s IP address and browser type, demographic data and, if you arrived at our site via a link from a third party site, the URL of the linking page. If you have registered an account with us, it may also collect your name and email address. The data collected through cookies, web analytics and web logs may be transferred to third parties. Email communications:

We use web beacons in our emails to track the success of our marketing campaigns. If you open an email from us, we can see which of the pages of our website you visited. Our web beacons don’t store any information on your com- puter but, by communicating with our cookies on your computer, they can tell us when you have opened an email from us. We may keep track of the emails that we send you. We also keep a record of what communications you have selected to receive or not to receive. (2) Personal Information & the SPICE Application

The App user's right to privacy

The SPICE Framework Application (the "App") stores information on individual users within Personalised Wallets. Innovation People Limited, its agents and part- ners may gather anonymised data from Personalised Wallets but may not gather, collate or share personalised information unless:

(a) The individual concerned gives their expressed permission or (b) There is a requirement under the laws of England and Wales

Individual users may grant permission to other users to both access their Per- sonal Wallet and to collaborate. However it is always the user’s prerogative to choose whether or not to share information.

The App user's right to transport information

The App user is at liberty to share their information held in the App with other users and with Third Parties, always providing this is consistent with the general Terms of Use and it entirely the user’s right to choose with whom they collabo- rate.

Innovation People's Rights as Data Controller

As data controller, all information provided by users of the App is owned by Innovation People Limited and applied in accordance with the requirements of the App Terms of Use. Such information may be used:

(a) In anonymised forms for research purposes whether for clients of Innovation People Limited using the SPICE Framework or for third parties

(b) Using anonymised information in marketing and promoting the SPICE Framework, Innovation People and trusted third parties products and services, in accordance with the App Terms of Use.

Innovation People's Responsibilities as Data Controller

All information stored on the App is the property of Innovation People Limited. Innovation People Limited regards its first duty as being to take all reasonable steps to protect and preserve data held by App users ensuring this is not disclosed with personal identifiers without the prior authority of such users or the requirement of the laws of England and Wales. As such Innovation People Limited has adopted the Anonymisation Code of Practice developed by the Information Commissioner's office and found at: Anonymisation Code Summary

How we use the information that we collect:

We own the information we collect through this website. We will use it, as applicable, to:

  1. provide you with products, services or information
  2. contact you regarding your registered account with us;
  3. monitor or improve the performance of, and products and services available
  4. customise the advertising and content that you see
  5. monitor compliance with our terms and conditions of use of this website,
  6. enforce our rights and protect the safety of others including investigating and if necessary removing any content about which we receive a complaint

By providing us with your personal information, you consent to us:

  2. processing your sensitive personal data, such as health data (if provided); and
